Fit and value are excellent. The protection is solid. They took a lot of care to make sure you can get to all the controls, the battery goes in smoothly, and that the cooling slots weren't blocked. The only issue I found is that you need to cut about 1 1/2 inches from the front to use with the OTA-C adapter for an Angler FastBox or a Parasnap softbox, which is my go-to for an indoor kicker/hairlight or shooting in outdoor shade. At this price, it's not a big deal to buy an extra for softbox use. It beats paying $30 for a new screen on e-bay and the twenty minutes or so it takes to put the new one in.

I recently bought 2 AD100s, I have had incidences when the stand has been blown down by gusts and made me concerned about the strobes. Almost all my strobes except the 400 and 600 have their displays on the back, the most vulnerable section of the strobes. It only makes sense to attach something to prevent it from direct impact if it falls. These skins provide some peace of mind which would minimize damage.

It's a good option but I travel with my light in the case. It doesn't fit in the case with the bumper on. So, I don't use it.

This is a 100watt flash and it?s the perfect amount for indoor events and portability. This is good for outdoors but don?t expect any crazy rim light or separation. I use it mostly to light up the face of the subject to make sure I get all the face details!

The covers in my opinion offer a measure of protection to possibly save your investment from damage which is always a smart choice, although the thin font of the skin could be made a bit thicker and sturdier I'd recommend it because of the added protection.

Worked perfectly for what I needed. I have a bad experience where one of my 100's got dented on location and immediately went to purchase these. Fits great, protects my gear, overall very happy with it.
