Shopper : What size does this fold down to? Width and thickness please, as I need to know if I can pack this in a suitcase or medium-ish backback.ART W : It folds down to about 24 inches. The layers are not that thick as I thought. You should have no problem.MICHAEL O : 15 inch diameter , less than 1 inch thickSHERYL M : It folds into a round carrying case that is 15 l/2" in circumference.RANDELL J : The reflector in the case folds down to 15.75 inches in diameter. It is a inch thick if work around in the case. Very nice product I use it for seniors quite often. Hope this helps.TANIA L : It all depends on the size of a suitcase i don't have it anymore cause i gave to a friend, but its not that small to fit on backpack.FRED I : The reflector folds down to 14" circle and is about 1" thick when stored in it case. It will easily pack in a carry on suitcase.
Shopper : how do you fold this reflector to put it back into zip bag?MICHAEL O : Remember that you will end up with three circles that are one third the size of the reflector when it’s opened up. Grab opposite sides of the reflector and twist in opposite directions while bringing your hands together, in one motion. After you’ve done it a few times it will become quite natural. I have to confess though; it’s the same way to collapse a portable band saw blade which I used to do years ago when I worked construction.BRIAN M : To collapse the reflector, simply twist and fold the disc to a circular shape approximately half of it's original size, allowing the reflector to fit in the included zip bag.JOHN R : You simply grab the reflector with both hands, opposite sides and twist it into a figure 8 and it should collapse into a size to fit back in the case.U MENG L : Bend the reflector frame and make 3 circles.ART W : Hard to explain but easy to do. It's almost like you squash the top part down to a figure 8 then fold it inside itself to make 3 circles. You can't do it without making 3 circles!DANIEL B : You grab opposite ends and twist... the rest should follow naturally.RANDELL J : The reflector works great! To break the reflector down to put in the bag, just give the disc a twist and it will collapse very easy. It's tricky at first but after a couple of times it's easy.

Glow 5 n 1 reflector

I only received this a short time ago, but I have used a smaller reflector in the past. Using this gives me more versatility. The only draw back is collapsing it. Great product, just like all the Glow Line.

Glow reflector shines

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of construction. The outer cover zips on and is quite snug but it’s better that way than to have it sagging. Because of the size you need at least an average wingspan to fold it up. It’s pretty long and takes some practice getting the technique down. Smaller arms beware! Or bring Michael Jordan as your assistant.

Amazing Reflectors

I would definitely recommend this product. I also have the 30" reflectors, but these add so much more versatility and depth. They collapse into a manageable and easily traveled size. I can't imagine going on a shoot without them.

A great bargain

I bought this reflector for something light and easy to pack primarily for outdoor shoots. I haven't put it to a real trial yet, but at first blush I'm extremely happy with it. It seems to be rugged and comes with a nice case. The only con was that there was no instructions for the "right way" to collapse the disc for storage. It took me a minute to figure it out, but that's that's just me. Perhaps someone else would have figured it out immediately.
