I thought this was going to be a frivolous purchase, but dang it's handy. I had been hanging the pack from its strap on the stand; a little precarious. This clamped in solid and the clip on the back of the pack slid right in.

This works as advertised to secure your battery to your lightstand.  My only complaint is that I wish the little rubber cup  was glued to the mount.  I almost lost it at a wedding and that would have been a huge problem since I don't think the clamp would have worked with the metal pressing right up against the metal from the stand.

A must have with your battery pack

Great little addition to a Streaklight. Holds the light onto the stand and is easy to put on a take off. A must have if you own a Streaklight 360.

A must have if you use a battery pack on a light stand

For a few dollars it ensures you have the perfect spot to hang your FlashPoint (or similar) flash unit. I like the additional threaded 1/4 x 20 hole. Well worth the money- and for the price no need to reason for DIY holder.

Always a hit

All metal construction with rubber ends. Grips well. It does it's job well. I use to to hold up the AD600 battery bag.

Holds on tight and does what it was made to do.

Initially I was using Velcro straps to secure the battery to a light stand but it would shift to much if I moved the stand so I purchased this clamp  and it resolved the problem, no more shifting. Worth  the extra cost.

I use this to mount my flashpoint battery pack to a pole for my assistant to hold at weddings so the battery pack doesn't fling all around. It works perfectly! It is a must!

This clamp does the job just fine. It’s built well and will probably last a while. My only gripe is that the screw you use to tighten it to the light stand is too long, so when packing it into a cramped grip bag it’ll get in the way of things. That, and the rubber grip falls off. Not a problem when it’s attached to a light stand, but you’ll look for it in your camera bag. Over all though, it’s a good purchase and I recommend it.

I would strongly recommend this clamp to hold your battery pack.

These clamps are a recent purchase and I do like them over just hanging my batteries by their strap from a knob on my light stands. The batteries are more secure. However I am concerned that I could tighten them too much and damage my stands (I use cheap stands). I do recommend them, just use with care.

Battery pac clamp

This is great for use on a light stand while on location. You can move everything around easily without the need of an assistant. Just tighten it on you light stand, and clip your blast pack on it, and now you are mobile.
