The Godox DP1000III Professional Studio Flash is a powerful 1000Ws monolight with advanced features. It offers a consistent color temperature of 5600K, a rapid 1-second recycle time to full power, and flash durations ranging from 1/800 to 1/2000 second for capturing fast action. Power output is adjustable from 1/64 to full power, and the 150W modeling light can be set to a percentage or proportionate to the flash power, allowing for precise previewing of your shot.

I love the DPIII line of monolights. Really great performance for the price point. Are there better strobes? Of course. Are there better for the price? I really don’t think so.

Best for the price

I purchased the DPIII 1000W light as an addition to my Godox/Flashpoint lights. I wanted a low cost plug-in to support my studio shoots, this light ticked al the boxes. This new III series give a lot more steps of control over the light power, and works seamlessly with my battery powered models. I was using the AD600pro as my key light, this now replaces it on inside shoots. The only downside I have is the weak modeling lamplighter, not nearly as powerful. Overall, a solid product with good features carried over from it's better lines, like the variable hinge (no ratchet based lock) a great screen and compatibility with the other products. One other minor negative is the handle, not sure why its on top, not the more useful position of underneath (like the AD600pro). Highly recommended, amazing value (especially at $300 or under with sales), a great light that no one is talking about!
