Serves its purpose.  Used on a 1930s vintage Leica iiic, so shoe mount is the best option

Shoe mount adaptor for Gossen

This is very handy for holding my Digiflash. It's also good when using the meter to measure reflected light. However, the fit is loose on both my Canon SLR and my Mamiya 7 hotshoes. Pointing the camera up and vibrating it a bit is enough to slowly slide the adapter out. (My flashes fit just fine.) I still give it 3 stars, though, because it really does what I bought it to do.

Imperfect fit, but handy

I bought this adapter to mount a Gossen Digisix light meter on my old folders and press cameras. I liked its low-profile if not its price. It broke within the first week after getting bumped against someone's shoulder bag. I couldn't believe such a low-impact event shattered this thing. The camera and light meter were unscratched. This is one of the cheapest, most poorly made products I've ever used. How on earth they have the gall to charge this much for a tiny piece of low-grade plastic and a stock screw is beyond me. Gossen should be ashamed of themselves. This item should be made of the same material the screw and cold shoe are made of. Even then, the price is steep.
