I believe the Green Extreme was made as an alternative. I don't know if it will fit the D-5300.

I have reviewed the items sent me, and they all appear to be in order. I have tried them out on my Nikon D700 Body, and they work OK! My expectations were that of being a " FACTORY" Nikon Refrbished Product, but instead you provided me with a after market brand. The quality is Not their, but works properly so far. When dealing with you as a vendor, I expected the product as an original as indicated when I placed my order as an original product BRAND ! Thanks, C. Tryon

The Green Extreme!

So far I've had a pair of these for my Nikon D200. The price was excellent and so far so have these batteries been. The hold their charge well and actually last longer than my OEM Nikon battery. The only reason for the 4 Stars rather than the 5 is that they were a little to snug to get into my charger, other than that they're great.
