The camera is built around a 4-megapixel progressive-scan CMOS sensor, which captures true HD video footage as well as 4MP image stills. An IR night vision range of 8 meters, or 25 feet, helps to get the shot in any lighting condition, and the user can make additional adjustments to backlight compensation, brightness, saturation, and contrast to get the most out of the camera wherever it's installed. Additionally, the camera has line-crossing and motion detection alarms, dynamic analysis, and a tampering alarm.
