the Durabrite Ultra XL Black ink cartridge has a larger capacity so it lasts longer. You should always use Epson ink in an Epson printer for the best results.

I have had various different brand ink-jet printers over the last 15 or so year, and Epson WP-4530 gets the highest ratings--which uses four 676XL cartridges--Black, Magenta, Cyan, & Yellow--all long lasting cartridges permitting a lot of printing. Far lower cost per printed page than the various other brands used; especially good are these high capacity ink cartridges.
