Fits as it should
Much more attractive than the hood that comes with the XF 23 f1.4. I would have given it 5 stars but the lens cover slides off too easily.

Fujifilm LH-XF23 Hood for XF 23mm f/1.4 R Lens
This is a great hood for a superb lens and should be the one included with the lens at purchase. Its pricey and I know that will put a lot of people off but it has several things going for it: 1) Its metal, not plastic 2) its rectangular shape is much better when used with the rangefinder style X-Pro bodies 3) the front edge has a bit of a recessed lip nearly a quarter inch around which protects your front element - so if you drop the lens hood down into a bag compartment containing the lens cap, or if your lens cap comes off in the bag with the petal hood on you might very well scratch up the coating on your front element. Ask me how I know. 4) the lens hood has a metal cap which slides on and off and stays put unlike the rubber one on the 35 & 18 lenses. All in all highly recommended.

The best looking lens hood
Yes, it's a bit pricey but, well worth the money. In my opinion, this is the best looking lens hood in the XF line.

Solid hood, though pricey
Its a lens hood, metal, solid build. No vignetting, great flare protection, compact and the rectangular shape looks great. It doesn't weigh too much, but does alter the balance on a XT1 to make it more front heavy.
I took off one star because of the price, you do get what you pay for, but come on Fuji, its a lens hood!
