Questions & Answers

Shopper : Can anyone tell me if the Garmin 3597 high definition can take this card and function properly when it is updated with new maps or does it need a different high-capacity card?THOMAS M : Stay below 64 games and don't use cf when you need SD cardsANDREW R : This card should work with most devices that support 128GB Class 10 SDXC memory cards. I would recommend consulting the manual for your device to confirm compatible card types and capacities.
Gordon M : Is this card fully compatible with the Sony FDR-AX100 Video Camera?JACQUES G : I have no experience with the SONY FDR-AX100. However, I checked the Internet for specifications and they listed the SDHC and SDXC cards as compatible with no maximum memory limit. So, the Lexar 128 GB class 10, 600X should be fine. I would even consider getting the 256 GB card because video is a memory hog. I think Lexar is probably the best quality brand. (It would have been nice if the camera took compact flash cards as well [better than SD cards) but I did not see compact flash listed. And, if the camera took both cards or two sets of the same card, one could be used as backup to the main card as in my Nikon D800E.) Anyway, I would contact SONY directly to make sure.KEVIN G : You will have to ask sony if it is compatable. Sorry I dont know KevinUPS D : I use my card actually two of them in my Nikon D 600 camera and movie camera all-in-one awesome product 128 GB each.LUKE F : No sure. Check you owners manual. Some devices have a max. Memory card they will accept.ANDIS P : It was great. Super high speed. Used in building and running virtual machines. Great product.
Shopper : Does this card work with the Nikon dx7100 and is it high speed for video recording?VINCENT K : Sorry, I do not own a D7100 (not yet anyways, probably order one from Adorama eventually), and I also do not do video. I do a lot of action photos at 5fps, and the SDXC cards work perfectly. But I believe your D7100 will accept SDXC cards. Sometimes, the owner's manual lists the compatible memory cards, sometimes they don't. It is frustrating.PHILIP O : Check the camera manual. In the back somewhere, Nikon will give you a list of cards that will work with your camera.JACQUES G : FYI, I'm using this card in my Nikon D800E with no problems. The card is very fast and just fine for high speed video. The key is 600X and speed class 10 for 90 MB/s. But, will it work with the D7100? Since I'm not familiar with the D7100, the following comments may not be 100% correct. Nevertheless, the following comments may be useful. . . . My research (contacts with Nikon and Lexar) indicates that if the camera is designed to handle secure digital extended capacity (SDXC), it should handle the 128 GB. The D7100 does handle SDXC so it should be OK. My concern is that Nikon does not list the Lexar at all under SDXC! But, it does list SanDisk and Panasonic. I think it is because Nikon has not tested the Lexar and not that it would not work. I know this is frustrating but I ran into this same problem when I bought the D800E. It is probably safe to say that any recent professional camera should handle SDXC. Also, do not consider cheap versions of SDXC cards. Stick with Lexar or SanDisk. In summary, try to get the seller to allow return if the card does not work. But, as mentioned above, the odds are that it will work.

Lexar par excellence at Adorama

I use this product almost daily for my photographic work and have found it to be completely reliable. The only minor problem is that if it is slipped into a pocket and rubbed against anything it should not be rubbed against for an extended period, the outer lettering can get worn. This I have seen in someone else's possession and can happen to most products of this kind.

Great SD Card

I just got back from a trip to the national parks in northern AZ & southern UT. I took 1600 photos on this one card and it worked great with room to spare.

Great Value

This is a great product at a great value for photographers. There were some issues when first installing the memory card into the camera. The camera could not recognize the card. Luckily, I had a card reader to format the memory card externally and then reinstalled it in the camera.

Great for backup and storage

This is a great SD card for the money. While I think the read/writes should be faster. They are adequate for storage purposes. Not good for real time.

Excellent Product

My laptop has an SDXC slot in it, and I use this for a solid-state drive, which is encrypted and removable. I also like that the SD storage has a physical, write-lockout switch on it. The capacity is excellent: lots of storage room!
