When considering an extra battery for my digital camera, I decided to stick with oem rather than a knockoff. The reasons are: This battery has plenty of staying power. It keeps my Pentax camera going shot after shot after shot.I'm usually using a ring flash on my camera but when I have the occasion to use the on camera flash, I know the battery will hold up. The bottom line is this battery lasts a long time between charges and I would recommend it.

The battery is easy to charge and small enough I take several when I travel.

Excellent battery. Great shelf life of the charge. Seems to hold most of its charge even when not used for weeks.

The battery charges quickly and holds the charge for an extended period of time and heavy use.

Holds charge for a long time (I shoot RAW), but haven't guestimated the number of frames etc. I shoot large files and am shooting every day. Seems to take as long as 5-6 hours to charge.

I'm happy that I stayed with the Pentax battery rather than getting an other manufactures.

This Pentax battery is more expensive but a better choice than countless cheap alternatives that claim higher capacity. The Pentax battery lasts for hundreds of photos even when taking many shots in a short time for panorama photography. This battery charges faster and holds the charge for longer than cheap alternatives.

Excellent fit and construction. The gold plated contacts are a plus

I purchased this battery-pack to supplement the main battery, since I'd be travelling overseas and would not necessarily have ready access to a convenient recharge. (Also, choosing the Pentax brand was obvious, since having already purchased an expensive body, why then compromise with off-brand power-packs.) The unit resides in the K10 power grip and serves its function well (over an approx. three-week period, and multi-GigaBytes of RAW shooting, and fill-flash). If it is as good as the unit that was supplied with the camera body (1 year old), then there is no reason to complain.

I boughtthe Pentax LI150 for my K20D canera and find it the same as the one that came with the camera. It fits the same and is not hard to take out or put back in to the camera.I take alot of photos in a week and find that it holds up well even when I set it the raw mode.I would tell any one that wants a back up battery this is the one to get.

The Pentax battery is not the most common for camera's, but it is a long lasting battery for the K20. I have over 1100 images on a charge. It charges up in an acceptable time. I think this battery is a very good choice for the K20.

It's a few dollars more than the clones but considering the price of the camera, it makes sense not to take any chances with off brands.

Does what it's supposed to. I bought it to put in the battery grip and run my K20D off 2 batteries. Don't have any complaints.

I use Pentax and Nikon equipment. I have used the generic and Name brand batteries. There is a confidence level that you can have with the Name Brand that doesn't last with the generic - and that happens when you pull out a battery that should be fully charged and it's barely alive!! You pay more, and you get more. Not all generics are bad, but there is tremendous variability from battery to battery within the same brand.

Hard to say if it is better than the generic cheaper ones, since I've only had it a few weeks. But so far no problems.

If you are using a Pentax K10D with a battery grip, you will need this battery. The camera only comes with 1 battery and if you buy the grip (recommended), you will need this battery because it is not furnished with the grip.

Who doesn't need extra batteries? I use this with my K20D and battery grip. It charges fairly quickly and holds the charge for a long time. I can get about 1200 shots in during a soccer game before my battery icon starts blinking. Don't buy any cheap third party version. Get the real deal. You will thank yourself later. I gave it 4 stars because it is not cheap.

Having a second battery is a must in my opinion. Especially if your travels take you to places where it is not convenient to recharge batteries
