This fit perfectly on my A7R2 and was easy to install. It looks like it's not even there. It still looks new after a few months of use but I won't complain if it shows wear and tear because that just means it's doing its job of protecting the screen.

Protected!

Highly recommended. Easy to apply on my Sony RX10M2 without bubble problem. Just make sure you clean screen before application & take your time applying. I used a microfiber cloth and air blower to prep LCD. Screen protector saves LCD from the camera constantly rubbing against coat/shirt buttons/zippers. I also us a Sony screen protector on my RX100M7 & touch screen works fine.

I have a Sony screen protector on my RX100 II. After being on the camera for years, it needs to be replaced. I have a new Sony screen protector to replace it with. How do I remove the existing screen protector?

How to remove screen protector

First let me say my last lcd screen was almost unbearable to see. To see through or to even look at. 
Swapping this out was a little tricky. A little bit of heat and the glue was reactivated on the old lcd once you peel it off and clean the glass the rest is easy. 
Just a FYI do not apply too much heat light amount and be patient.

The instructions say to place the wide border on the right, but that obscures part of the screen. Otherwise, the product is fine.

It’s solid and fits well.  It seems thick enough to offer substantial protection.  My only complaint is cosmetic.  When installed properly on my RX100 vi, the Sony logo is upside down on the top.

Good but one flaw

The screen protector works as advertised.  It is best applied upside down in order not to obscure parts of the LCD screen (I had read that in advance)

Product fit and worked great protecting LCD screen until it had to be removed to replace. The protector come off gently but the adhesive left behind removes the anti glare coating on the LCD screen. The only repair is to replace the entire LCD screen according to Sony. So it does not really protect it destroys.

The first time I pulled out my view screen, it flipped off the camera, and as luck would have it fell in a puddle.  Haven't had that problem before with more flexible screen protectors.

Not Worth It

I requested the screen protector for the RX10 IV camera.  It fits the screen but needs to be installed upside down:  the SONY logo needs to be on the top of the screen and then it is upside down (the screen for RX10 has the wider black area on the left side of the screen).  Other than that, it works great and does its job.

The adhesive side picked up tiny dust particles that are basically impossible to remove without causing streaks to show.  OK if you are going to apply it in a ‘clean room’ environment.  Also, the borders do not fit the RX-10 unless you rotate it so that the SONY name is upside down.

OK but with some flaws

This add on grip is well made and transforms the handling of the RX100 series cameras.  They really need a front grip and this product should be standard equipment.

When installed as directed, the black border of the protector covers the far right edge of the screen.

I was able to apply the Sony LCD screen protector with ease and it fits perfectly. It's comforting knowing that the screen protector adds a level of protection.

Well-worth it

If you are not acquainted with the upper-left view finder, the review screen is worth some attention and care if you are about to buy the DSC-RX100III. It is very important to get a screen protector, no matter how careful you may be. Between the retractable monitor(L'écran) and any surface you may house the electronic camera, there is bound to be some abrasion, so take heed and buy the screen protector so you are not distracted by the excellent technical qualities of the camera.

2nd barrier, not impervious, does the job

Took my Sony RX100M2 to England - awesome photos - but I wasn't careful enough and scratched the back LCD. So I bought this to ensure that It won't get any worse - easy to apply and looks perfect.

I purchased this for my Sony a7 II. It fits perfectly and was easy to install. But, if you are nervous about installing it, there is a YouTube video for instructions. I highly recommend this product to protect your LCD screen.

Good Protection

The cover fits nicely into the recess on the display screen. It appears to sit flatter than on earlier versions of the RX-100. On a Mark I I lived with a big Newton ring that wouldn't go away. This new cover disappears as soon as you lay it down. A must for protecting this little jewel.

Necessary accessory

Easy to apply, adheres very cleanly and securely.  Fits my Sony a7II screen like a charm.  I think the protector adheres  well partly because I used a microfiber cloth to clean the screen thoroughly and repeated a couple times, making sure I saw absolutely no dust particles before gently setting the screen protector in place.  Very pleased with this product.
