This a beautifully made piece of equipment but does not fit on Olympus OM-d camera because it hits the view finder front protrusion. It would have easily got 5 stars had it fit - it really is well made. The Sales rep assured me I was wrong and the Adorama web site said it would fit. I reluctantly sent it back. I contacted Kipon and they confirmed my finding and if you look hard enough have updated their website.

As others have said, this is a VERY well made adapter and worth the price. However, there is one caveat: the locking and other adjustment knobs are placed in such a way and are of such a length that they fit on Panasonic GH bodies with difficulty. I have a GH4 and can only mount the adapter with the locking and adjustment knobs in the horizontal plane. Otherwise, they hit the viewfinder prism housing preventing me from mounting the adapter. Even then, I have to remove the tilt locking knob to rotate the adapter onto the body and then replace it once it's mounted. I am concerned that it would be easy to lose such a small knob/screw like this while shooting on location. (It also means that the "rotate" function of the adapter is severely limited on these bodies.) That said, It's not too big a hindrance since you can rotate the camera 90 degrees if necessary to get the shot you want. Even with this issue, I intend to keep the adapter so I can use various focal length lenses with tilt/shift as it is far more cost effective than buying numerous T&E lenses. However it is something to keep in mind.

I'm new to the micro-four-thirds camera's, and I don't have a local camera shop to go to and try things out before I buy them, making my purchases trial and error for everything. I purchased this with the understanding it would fit a micro-four thirds Olympus, (which it does), although NOT for an Olympus OMD E-M10, since the internal flash bottom seat is in the way of mounting this tilt/shift to the body. I tried to connect it while using a macro spacer, and that worked (for mounting), but then it was transformed into a macro attachment, and would only focus up close, (not further than 3" from the lens), defeating my purpose for taking pictures of architecture. In closing, If your MFT camera doesn't have anything impeding the mount, this tilt/shift is very well built, and will last the test of time. It tilts, shifts, and spins 360 degrees, and clicks into each position as it does, (and is lubricated.) I may purchase another brand of camera in the future, just to eventually be able to use this mount.

This KIPON Tilt and Shift Lens Mount Adapter mounts Nikon F series lenses on Micro 4/3 mirrorless camera bodies to add significant features to ordinary optics and take advantage of the best of both manufacturers. Your favorite Nikon F lenses easily fit, lock securely and perform just like they were Nikon Tilt and Shift lenses. There are no interfering glass elements to spoil the excellent Nikon optics. Nikon F lenses have phenomenal resolving power to deliver quality images to high resolution sensor's, even at widest open aperture. Nikon is famous for 40 years of producing masterful prime lenses which have been the envy of all glass producers and is in a class of its own.
The lens adapter has a silky smooth adjustable tilt and shift movement to add perspective and depth of field control to any suitable Nikon lens. The two movements can be precisely set so that the amount of effect is set to any point within the track range. There is a range of 30mm from full right to left shift and 12mm of tilt from axis with a revolving disk to allow for a 360 degree choice of tilt angle from center. All tilt and shift positions have a locking mechanism to assure perfect alignment in use. Even though no camera to lens automation or link exists within the adapter, the Micro 4/3 mount camera can provide some degree of automated aperture and full manual shooting modes, as well as stop-down metering, for exposure control. While infinity focus is retained in this design, only manual focusing is possible.
All KIPON adapters undergo the CNC turning center procedure during manufacturing to provide photographers with only the utmost precision and quality.
