This is a great product. Very solid. A definite must have !!

A very solid product!

For occasions when I need to have overhead lighting for headshots or tabletop setups, this boom is perfect. Shot some recent portraits with a Profoto D1 Air and Elinchrome Rotalux 135. The monolight and modifier weigh about 9 lbs, which is exceeds this boom's 6.6 lb capacity- but I didn't plan on extending the boom to its maximum length, so it works well. I used a 8lb sandbag to counter balance. I used a Lowel Grand Stand to support. Great combination. Be advised that this stand's minimum length is about an inch longer than the stated 46.5".
