When you want the biggest possible image for watching TV shows and movies or playing video games, you’ll need a video projector. Modern video projectors are small and extremely bright, and most can create an image over 100 inches in diameter or more. You can connect them to anything from a laptop to a Blu-ray player. Some models are designed for home use, while others can function in the home or at the office.
One thing to keep in mind is that some video projectors have a difficult time competing with ambient light. Turning off all or some of the lights in a room, or closing the curtains, will improve the image considerably. Some projectors use LEDs, or light emitting diodes, instead of the more traditional ultra-high pressure (UHP) lamp. LED projectors tend to be smaller, but not as bright.
