As a mechanical designer, I tend to scrutinize products more than the typical user. I was initially pleased with my purchase, from unpacking it to setting it up. Every feature from the height of the rubber feet to that easily compensated for a slight height difference where my two desk surfaces came together, to the locations and size of the wire routing clips underneath, to the smooth, quiet, and infinitely variable positioning mechanism, is well executed and high quality. I am 6"1" and I do not need to extend the desk to its full height for comfort. I would like to have a "device groove" as a feature - a place to put my phone so it is facing me while I work. I have two 24" monitors, a keyboard, mouse, a bluetooth speaker, and a 3D positioning device on my desk and I feel that need to push down harder than I would like. I understand that the desk can support a lot of weight and the mechanism needs to resist that; maybe a future design could incorporate some weight adjustment feature to make it easier to collapse the desk if there is not a lot of weight on it. Overall, this is an excellent product and I am quite happy with my purchase so far.
