Great pack!

I have the smaller flip side 300 and wanted a bag that could carry my sigma 150-600mm attached to my camera body. This bag will easily accommodate this setup with plenty of space for more lenses and gear. Seems well made and rugged like my other lowepro bag.

Huge bag!

Fits my canon 80d with grip, 70-200, 17-50, flash, transmitter, batteries with charger and still have space. Very happy with it.

Perfect fit for my Nikon with grip and 200-500 mounted, also has space for a 70-200, and 3 other lenses and cleaning supplies. Highly recommended.

Great bag!

This bag carried the lenses I want and more. Canon 5Dm3, 70-200mm, 2 more lenses, flash, large tripod, along with layers. Looking forward to trying on longer outings. It is a large bag!

Right bag for the job

This is a great bag for putting a lot of gear in. It is large, and not the lightest, but the straps and belt do a good job to alleviate the weight. I can put my d750 with a 28-200 lens attached, and my Sigma 150-600mm just below it. The tripod holder on the back middle is nice- but it makes it nearly impossible to access the rear pocket while in use. Thankfully, I can secure the tripod to the side just fine. 
Build quality is superb, as I've encountered with my previous Lowepro bag (a sling bag I've had for quite a few years, that still gets plenty of use for shorter, less gear intense trips).

Excellent roomy bag, a few minor things that annoy.

I needed a pack to protect my larger lens, and this one will accommodate some pretty large lenses. In fact it also holds the normal lenses, the filters, the flash, and all the other gear I used to keep in two smaller packs. It is a little weird the way it unzips from the back to open the main compartment, but you can also strap on a tripod and have all your gear in one place. That is the main attraction for me, even if it is a bit bigger than I need at the moment.

This is a large pack!

The best camera backpack, very roomy for two big cameras with hand grips and multiple big lens, plenty of dividers provided, built with tough materials that will last for years.  Best for hiking photographers who wants to have all gears in one bag.  All in all, the price is so very affordable.

The best and very affordable Lowepro Flipside 500 AW II Backpack for Professional DSLR

This baby is huge, and I mean that in a good way!  I need space for my 7D2 with Sigma 150-600 mounted, and they fit perfectly.  This is my first LowePro product, and it's well padded and seems to be VERY high quality.  I love it!

I love it!

I currently have the Flipside AW 400 and I really like it. The only complaint I had for that, was the cover or flap would not stay open and they fixed that on the newer model but messed up on the tripod mounting system I just got the Flipside 500 AWII for more room. The only complaint I have is the strap for the tripod mount was moved from the back pouch cover to the top and that doesn't work for shorter tripods and is a pain to use for taller tripods. This is a really bad design. That was a really bad move on Lowepro's part. Other than that, I like the bag. I even got the new mica camo color. I had to order a cinch strap to be able you carry my tripod on the backpack.

Almost covered everything

The bag was everything I was looking for and it is better than it looks I happy that I got it ????

Just the bag I need

A combination of function and quality. The 500 nicely holds my two pro bodies, lenses and an assortment of other items I need when I am in the field. And like my other Lowepro bags, it has multiple pockets and cubbies designed for just about anything. All that and high quality materials and construction.
