JON V : Is there a rain cover stowed in the pack?TONY S : Yes there is a built in rain cover.Willie S : YesGEORGIA S : Yes there is.TONY S : Yes it does come with a built-in camera bag rain cover that covers the entire case. It is on the very bottom of the case, there is a zipper. You unzip it and the bag is neatly stored inside there. It comes out and covers the case but it is sewn into the casing structure so as not to come unattached so you will never loose it. Very ingenious idea. This is by far the best camera case bag/backpack I have ever owned in my 16 years of doing photography. It is worth every dime in gold.
JAY J : Will this bag fit under an airline seat and will a Sigma 150-600 lens fit in it?TONY S : It will fit the lens but you will have to remove some compartments. I think it can fit under an airplane seat and definitely in the plane overhead compartment.Ching-Long L : It can fit Sigma 150-600mm attached to my camera Nikon D610. Have not yet tried it under an airline seat. But, based on UA carry on bag dimension (9x14x22), the bag shall fit (if without the bulky shoulder straps).J S : It would be a tight fit to put this bag under an airline seat, but it easily fits in the overhead compartments. A Sigma 150-600 lens will fit in the bag, but you will have to adjust some of the dividers to do it. (Easy to do.)

Kudos for LowePro

Spacious with a well thought out padding system that allows customization. That said, there is a price to pay in weight - the unloaded bag is not light but your gear will be well protected. The pack rides high on the back and is reasonably comfortable when fully loaded. Haven’t strapped on a heavy tripod yet but I am guessing when I do, slinging the bag up on my back will be awkward. Much easier on back and shoulders when lugging your kit around all day. Would recommend this backpack - a good value and well made product.

Quality backpack with LOTS of storage!

I love this backpack! It is pretty big, but very comfortable as well. I have the Eos r with the 24-105mm, 100mm macro and 4 other beginner/kit lenses. The compartments are customizable, so every lens will be able to fit and be nice and snug. There is enough room to fit my 4 batteries, 2 chargers, flash and wireless trigger, rechargeable batteries w/charger, extra SD cards, Cleaning items, and flash diffusers. There is still more room somehow, for 15" laptop, and other smaller items or glass. I'm sure there is more that I forgot to mention that I have stored. Definitely recommend.

Wow!!!

This bag is everything you need for a day to day photography bag! It does weigh quite a but for a camera bag but you won't even notice it because the bag hugs your body and feels really comfortable. I recently shot in the rain with the bag (not a torrential down pour) but a good amount of rain and didn't even use the rain cover. Everything stayed dry inside. Now the inside is so spacious and there's a pouch for everything in this bag. If I had to buy a second one I would. That's how much i love it!

Great Camera Bag!

I came from an adventure focused 45L backpacking camera bag and found that I never carried the bag in the backcountry and only used it for commercial shoots. It was not easy to get gear in and out of and didn't have enough organization. This bag is amazing for organization and carries all of my small gear without an issue. Sturdy, will last a lifetime.Definitely recommend. 2 Bodies, 16-35, 24-70, 70-200, 35, 85 f1.4(sigma...it's massive!), and lots of accessories.

Can´t live up to it´s claims

Seems well buildt and has the right shape and some well engineered extras, but... I can just about cram in my sony a7 with a medium zoom lens attached and two wide angle primes in the main compartment... and thats it !! The claims of fitting a dslr with tele zoom lens attached and 4-5 extra lenses... Not a snowballs chance in hell with todays lenses!! Maybe for vintage shooters... Also they should exclude the quite poorly designed hip belt altogether. Unless you are a little person or a small kid this pack is way too short for use of the hip belt anyway, so it is just dead weight and annoying. Thankfully it is removable. This pack is going back!

Almost handles every situation. Almost.

I am a Travel filmmaker. Had this bag 5 years and still going strong. Not only do I carry cameras through Airports, trains and rough terrain but rigs and tripods too. I have had 2 other bags (including Peak design) and i still gravitate towards this guy. This bag is not the prettiest but its very utilitarian. Being able to switch between roller and backpack is great. I can travel with the roller and then wear on the back when Im shooting or need to go up stairs, bush walks, cobble stones. However, by trying to be two types of bags it probably isn't perfectly designed for either function. Cons - The roller handle isn't strong/sturdy enough and its a bit fiddley to put up and down. The backpack option is pretty uncomfortable. Bag is definitely not shaped and designed for long stints on your back. Pros- Capacity is awesome and I can attach rigs and small tripods on the outside. Even fits a 15 inch macbook. I load this bag up to the Limit! I put stabilizers, Harddrives, Audio Equipment, Gorilla Pods, Spark Drone, 3 Lenses and a Sony Mirrorless into this baby.

Wanted something rugged for my Camera & Cine Lenses

Very Impressed at how nice, padded, and rugged this backpack is. More than spacious enough for almost all your gear, you will need on any given project. Heavy duty shoulder straps, as well as chest, and waist straps. For as big as it is, you would think it would be much heavier. Shockingly though, it's not. Has pockets for phone, ipad, and small laptops. As well as many places for batteries, SD Cards, Cables, and much more. You will be very happy with this pack on your next project.

Awesome

This is a high quality bag with tons of storage and well thought out design. I have a smaller Lowe pro that’s about six years old that I’ve hauled all over the country and it still still looks great. The 450 is substantially bigger but the harness is so good that I don’t notice the weight. I fly a good bit and I believe I will enjoy the room for my laptop and iPad. The quality is looks to be quite a bit better than my old one so I’m hoping for years of service out of this one. It’s an attractive bag also which is not a big concern for me but is a bonus for sure. The price is discounted heavily due to the real ease date so it’s a steal of a purchase in my opinion.

Excellent quality pack and the divider system is so easy to reconfigure as gear needs change! Also fits in a carry on suitcase I recently flew with it inside my hard shell carry on roller bag for extra security and to help disguise it from a camera bag !

Happy with the Bag

After purchasing a second DSLR my old bag was too small. I decided on this one based on the interior size, compartments and laptop section. I decided to get the roller at the last minute.I use this for day-to-day assignments. Most everything fits except my 300mm. The piece you hook on to hold the bottom of your monopod is kinda odd since it moves around. Maybe a future model can have that somehow built in. A exterior pouch on the side for a water bottle would be nice.

Really excellent camera backpack

I am able to fit Nikon D750 with 50mm f1.4G attached, 20mm f1.8G, 2 TCs, 24-70 f2.8G, 70-200mm f2.8 FL E, and 200-500 f5.6 VR in the padded section, Dell XPS 15, charger, extra batteries, lens cleaners, gloves, remote shutter release, Lens pen, and lots of small items in here, and the straps are such that I can easily carry this in airports and it fits easily in the carry on bin. I can reconfigure it for many other uses.

Just what I needed.

I purchased this backpack primarily because it conforms to the size limits for personal carry on for a business flight I'm taking. I shoot an Olympus Micro Four Thirds camera system and did not need a real deep camera backpack -- this one is perfect, as it will fit under a seat.. I am able to load two bodies with grips, two flashes, five lenses, spare batteries, and cables with room to spare. I love the fact that it has both a top carrying handle, as well as a side handle. For those using this for hiking, it has very heavily padded shoulder and waist straps. It also comes with a lot of interior dividers.

Missing features

The bag is certainly well made but design issues made me rethink keeping the bag. It is sized as a carry-on but the outside pockets aren't big enough for passport, boarding pass, or tickets. The only thing they will hold is something long and narrow. These pockets and those on the interior are sewn like the bedsheets of a marine recruit in basic training, very snug. This looks good but makes accessing items difficult. This is especially true for the SD card pocket. This could have easily been accomplished with more loosely stiched material with shock cord sewn tightly into the top edge. As a hiking bag, the stiff front panel required opening the zipper more than would otherwise be necessary to access the camera that is perched high inside. If the laptop compartment was between the shoulder straps and the camera compartment, this would allow the front flap top to be more flexible and facilitate accessing the camera more easily, without the need to expose more of the interior than necessary, (especially if the top panel was tapered so that the zipper course at the top ran toward the camera location). As a box to store gear at home or carrying gear comfortably from one place to another it does an exellent job, (but I hope for more than "a box").

Love this bag and happy I committed to Lowepro!

Let me first say the quality of this bag is OUTSTANDING. As a photographer whose business just started flourishing, which translates into more wear and tear on your gear I had to step up my game. I NEEDED a bag that could keep up, look great and hold all the gear I wanted to bring ... so I did research for two months before committing to the Lowepro Pro Runner. I love how the Pro Runner is customizable, yes other bags and cases are customizable but the quality and thought process that Lowepro put into this piece of equipment makes me smile every time I open and close my bag on shoots. Just to give you an idea of what gear I bring to my photoshoots... the bag can comfortably hold my D810 “body” with battery grip and spider pro plate (*no lens attached), D7200 with 70-200 2.8 attached, 105mm macro lens, 85mm, 24-70mm, two speed lights (Flashpoint ION with built in R2 receivers) and a transmitter. I am also able to carry my 12” iPad Pro and 13” MacBook although I rarely carry those simultaneously (I’ll take this items from my home to a hotel on out of town shoots and leave these items in the hotel room) but it is doable if you needed your laptop or tablet on your actual shoot. There is still PLENTY of room for filters and little items such as a light meter, color correction card, extra memory cards, etc. Ok the reason I gave this product a 4 star rating instead of a 5 is because I feel based on my initial research I was able to put my D810 (battery grip) with lens attached in the main compartment. This is not possible since the telescoping handle takes away from the main compartments real estate. I also feel Lowepro could’ve made this bag more deeper to accommodate for this. Luckily my D7200 does not have a battery grip so it fits perfectly freeing up some room to put my D810 body into a side compartment within the main zone. So if you have two pro size bodies, keep this in mind. Lowepro did not omit this information in their product description but it is not readily transparent. Overall I would definitely recommend this product to anyone needing a quality bag. I am happy with my purchase.

Great bag if it fits

I really liked this bag, with one caveat. As a 5'6" older woman with back problems, I needed the waist belt to be effective, but it was too high if I tightened the straps to hold the bag to my back. If I loosened the straps, the bag fell away from my back. I ended up with the Tenba Shootout 24L, which has load leveling straps to prevent that problem. It fits well. Other than fit for me in particular, it's a great bag.

A little on the heavy side, lots of packets but worthless!

It is heavily padded, lots of packets but you can only fit small flat objects or papers in them, not big enough for 15 inch laptop, comfortable on your back

Well thought out pack.

The 350 AW II fits my Canon EOS 80D and 4 lenses. Plus chargers, filters, flash, microphone, and extra batteries. Still additional room for IPad or small laptop, and other smaller items. The backpack is well constructed and the internal pads are adjustable to fit lenses and gear. Also like where they have specific spots for storing rain fly and tripod straps. The backpack is comfortable pack around on the back, but I did remove the belt since it seemed to be a little overkill for the size of the pack, but I'll keep it around just in case. Only downside is the lack of a specific camera only access point on the top side of the pack, but it's not a deal breaker for me.

Sturdy multi purpose camera roller bag

Excellent size bag for a moderate amount of gear! Great for rolling and ok for carrying with light gear although fully filled the bag is not ideally comfortable to carry. I have a large Manfrotto tripod and it fits on the front for rolling well but a smaller tripod is easier to have on the front for carrying. Tons of organizational pockets and exterior attachment loops. The internal bottoms are not as padded as the sides but they are soft textured and the top handle does have a mold which contours and keeps the camera body, if placed on the top, slightly out from the depth of the rest. Solid construction is great. Works as a mobile storage for all of my gear.

A Superior Backpack

I needed a new method to carry my equipment after the purchase of a 150-600 mm telephoto lens. I was very concerned about fitting everything into the Lowepro 350. But after talking with my sales representative at Adorama and the Lowepro representative I decided to take a chance and purchased the 350. I can now fit all of my equipment in the backpack. It will hold my Nikon D90 with the 150-600 mm lens attached. Additionally it holds my 18-50 mm, a 70-300mm and all of my ancillary equipment. The overall construction is superior and is very comfortable to wear even when fully loaded. One can tell that it was designed by pros with much thought given to all details.
