Shopper : is it compatible with canon ex600?Werner A : I'm using this with a Nikon SB910 flash. It should also fit your Canon flash as this is not proprietary to Nikon.ALAN M : I don't know for certain, but it fits on my Canon 580 EXII. There is enough give in the elastic opening that I expect that it will fit, unless the 600 is significantly larger.HYUN P : Yes, it is. But it really doesn't cover more than 35 degree wide, when you pop the flash.JEFFREY O : Yes... The Ezybox attaches to any speed light using a combination of elastic and Velcro straps that secure around the head of the speed light. It's easy to install and remove.
JP D : I like a very diffused light like what you get with a 26" Wescott Rapid Box with the Beauty dish in front of the flash head. Is this smaller EzyBox nicely diffused or more directional being a physically smaller unit?ALAN M : It helps diffuse, but not much. Best if close to the subject. It won't do much for portraits but OK for table top still lives. It is handy to carry around when you don't what you will run into. You need to take care that the flash points toward the center, it is easy to knock it off center. I would probably buy it again for what I use it for.ALAN M : It helps diffuse, but not much. However, it's convenience makes it well worth the investment.HENRIQUE B : A larger box will provide you with a more diffused light compared to this ezybox that is about 8" square. for small, intimate shots it is very good and sets up quickly on a flash. the light through the box is so much better than the direct flash but it won't compare to your larger 26" wescott.ROBERT G : I use this box for macro and close-up still life. The light is very nicely diffused and somewhat directional but not as much as you might think. I don't think it will match the spread of a 26" box however.JOHN F : Not as soft as the 26" of course, but I have used it mostly on camera for events where I could not easily bounce the flash and it gives an overall even and relatively soft light. I wouldn't think of using it in studio unless you needed something small and wanted to soften it as much as you could. It attaches to the flash unit with a velcro strap. The photo shows the unit attached to a flash.Gregory W : The unit mounts directly to the front of a speedlight with it's own internal mounting system, so no bracket is necessary. If you are asking about the bracket shown in the picture, holding the speedlight to a lightstand, it is not included.JULIO T : This unit doesn't work on a bracket. It wraps around the flash head very solidly .I mounted on a Canon 580 EX II and fits like a glove; very light tight.It has two securing straps that work really well. Very useful and portable

It's a very efficient unit that factually exceeded the expectations I had. I use it on location as well as for studio. For its small size it is very good and provides excellent main or fill light function.

The right box for the right light

I use the Lastolite LS2420S Ezybox Speed-Lite for Small Flash as an auxiliary light for in tight portrait, still life and flower shots. I generally do not use it on the camera, but rather standing alone or on a hand held boom. It delivers the right fill to accent the overall lighting situation. I am very impressed and happy with this product.

Works Well

Holds onto the flash well with two straps. No need to stick anything to the flash itself. I am using this with a Nikon SB800 on a Custom Brackets Pro M Bracket. Provides nice fill, and can illuminate subject at night.

Fantastic! Compact! Fits easily in Bag.

The Lastolite Ezybox was on recommendation of another book publishing photographer. I am so glad I bought it! Used as fill flash for two recent portrait shoots and it worked wonderfully! And Adorama shipped it promptly as I requested!
