Good Radios
First used when driving with several other cars to keep in touch. Between the lead car and the last we could always get a mile. It would be nice if estimated distances could be more realistic but as with all RF communication, conditions rule. A max is given (direct line of sight) and for any other condition you get what you get. It is helpful to note in the manual that there are low and high power PTT buttons.

Great Radios..
Excellent radios, easy to use, however in the extreme cold the batteries dont perform well. I use them while skiing the temp was at 4 degrees F and the batteries performance isnt great.. So keep the radios warm in an inside pocket..

Nice beginner radios
Great brand name reliability , but needs more realistic distance mileage description. Says 35 miles , but lucky to go 1 mile with clear reception.

Good Quality
Use it for work and it does the job. Wish it had USB charging for in the car though.
