Lens Foot LF1 is a superior alternative to Pentax original lens foot for Pentax DA 60-250mm, DA 300mm and Pentax Adapter Q to K. Unlike the original, it has knob to attach or detach to the lens without using any tools. It also has special safety mechanism to prevent accidental loosening of the clamp. The release knob is only engaged when it is pulled out from the "disabled" position.
It has 1/4" socket at the base and can be mounted to tripods or any QR plates directly. This should be fine for a small lens on Pentax Adapter Q to K. For larger lens or cameras, their lens plates (LP-70, LP-85, LP-100) is needed to form an Arca Swiss compatible lens support. LP-100 is recommended to balance the weight of long lens on Pentax Q. The overall size of replacement lens foot is much smaller than an Arca Swiss compatible lens plate mounted to the original foot.
