The lights are pretty good with one major drawback. In slave mode, the light output is severely diminished no matter what power setting you select. I don't know why, but the lamps work fine using a synch cord and the wireless transmitter/reciever set. The same power setting in slave mode results in a 2 to 3 f-stop reduction.

Used in a Nikon D-610 to fire a Vivitar DF-383-OLY of-camera flash. Works perfectly. I have no issues with function or quality of the manufacturing. One thing I would like to do but cannot when the transmitter is mounted is to use the on-board flash as a low-power fill flash. The transmitter prevents the on-board flash from opening. That's OK, I'll just get another receiver and external flash and fire two of them.

This wireless triggering device works well with my portable setup I use it exclusevly with speedlights for on location shooting. it's inexspensive compared to PWs and works just as good for my needs.

I found the performance of this sync to be better than expected. I shoot strobes manually and do not use TTL Metering connections with my on camera flashes. I needed to go light on a job and decided to use my Vivitar 285 strobes. The sync worked absolutely beautifully and I had only one misfire which was likely due to a flash unit that I didn't allow enough recycle time for. I've not yet used it on my studio strobes so I can't vouch for how well it may work with them. I will take a good guess in that they will work just as well with them. The construction may not be robust, but with care it should provide faithful service. I would easily recommend this to anyone; amateur as well as Pro - and, for the money its even better.

This was purchased for travel. My only concern is the construction which seems flimsy. So far I have had no issues with it firing, it has been very consistent.

Love the way these just work and have the flexibility of radio or optical triggering and I like the way the base acts as a short stand.

The Interfit STR203 Strobies Pro-Flash Transmitter/Receiver Kit is used to trigger the Strobes Pro-Flash. With 16 channels, you are able to individually program and group up to 16 Pro-Flash units. Like the Pro-Flash, the Transmitter and Receiver feature simplified controls, letting you adjust the flash power, MF-Assist Beam, Audio Signal and flash triggering all from the camera position. The 165' (50m) working range gives you the freedom to move around and shoot with long lenses, should the situation call for it. The Transmitter runs off of two AA batteries, while the Receiver plugs directly into the Pro-Flash via USB and does not need its own power supply.
