Sure, it's a simple 7" reflector with room for a grid. Other light manufacturers make the same thing for their lights for much less. But then you open the box. This is Profoto. The materials are top quality. the black finish is textured for a great touch, and the rubber collar fits perfectly—holding the reflector snug even before it's clamped closed, but just loose enough for easy removal. Sliding the collar allows the strobe head to move deeper within the reflector, narrowing its beam— or nearer to the front of the reflector to broaden the beam. Profoto grids fit perfectly, but it even accepts 7" grids from other manufacturers. I tried it with some Paul Buff grids and they held tight, even when pointed upside down. It's more money than I like to spend for gear—especially for a simple 7" reflector, but the quality is incredible.

These reflectors are a great way to save some money buy using cheaper 7 inch gris from speedotron. the thing I didnt like was the fact that these are not near as smooth in their light output and are not near as zoom able as the standard zoom reflector, I now use the standard zoom reflectors with barndoors/grid/filter holders and the other accessories and am much happier.

It's everything it says it is.

The Grid Reflector allows use of other brand 7" grids and accessories on Profoto Heads. Not focusable.
