No highs. The tweeters were working but sounded like everything was coming out of the lower cones. The volume was pitiful as noted by others. They were sitting 3 feet in front of me and too soft at max volume. Personally I would not buy a TV with this sound. I've seen a lot of good reviews so maybe just personal taste on the sound.

I got this pair mainly for the built-in Blue-Tooth streaming option as well as the ability to use just one as a portable unit since I can unplug and carry it from room to room. Functionality works well. Overall sound quality is OK. I miss a deeper bass response, but this unit has the option to connect to an external subwoofer. Bass response improves somewhat when the unit is placed close to a wall. Solidly constructed with many options for inputs and outputs as well as bass/treble controls.

These speakers sound fairly good, but inconsistently. Bluetooth connection inconsistent. Inputs inconsistent and sometimes scratchy sound. Volume quite limited, surprisingly. Thought these would work out better than they have.

Originally, bought this pair for in-home use with my current setup. This pair has lots of input (TRS, RCA, AUX, BT) and sub output. also has HIGH/LOW eq where it leaves me lots of room to mess with between my DJ mixer. I am bringing these to every other gig and use them as my monitors in my booth.

I am no audio expert and don't have a particularly good hearing to discern good speakers from fantastic speakers so take this review with a grain of salt. As an amateur who had used nice quality audio equipment, these sound fantastic in small to moderate sized room. The pleasant sounding highs (not harsh) and a smooth mid. The bass is pretty decent and is good enough for most people and a separate subwoofer can be purchased for those who want more bass. I really like the incorporation of bluetooth and power saver mode. It makes for a convenient all-in-one package for multi use.

The sound quality is just what I expected, good all around for the size of this speaker. My only problem is while I'm playing via bluetooth, if the music is quiet enough, the power saving mode kicks in and the speakers go silent (bluetooth is still connected though). I need to turn up the volume on my phone for a few seconds to wake up the speakers and resume the music. This is especially troubling since you'll often miss the first few seconds of a song. So if you need very reliable bluetooth connectivity, don't buy this. I'm keeping it since I use it as part of an Internet radio setup, so I don't mind missing seconds out of a song...

Sound quality is very good, although only one of the speakers is powered the other one is not and need to work together. other than that i am happy. I bought these to use as monitors for music editing. .

I received these with the Tascam 16x8 Audio Interface as a bundle. They were free so they are amazing. I'm sure I'll upgrade eventually but for now, great sound and reference and the Bluetooth function is swell.

Mine was a defective unit but if you do not have a well grounded and conditioned power source, you will more likely than not have a humming and buzzing noise. The sound was great and I tried my best to get rid of the noise by buying a power conditioner, ground loop isolator, and shielded cables but I came to the conclusion that I received a defective unit. This is a shame as the sound quality was excellent. Perhaps it was the bluetooth chip inside the speakers that were causing it or a faulty amp. Whatever the reason there was a lot of noise in the speakers. I think modern speaker design should put those things into consideration but I guess you have to cut corners somewhere to get the excellent sound quality.

This is an excellent speaker. I was very surprised at the quality of the sound output. It has so many input options which make this speaker very versatile for almost any type of use from desktop, studio, backyard, music practice, etc... The Bluetooth pairing is simple and effective w/o all these annoying voices (ie. "connect/disconnect" with other speakers). With a huge air port in the back and if placed near the wall this speaker can output some decent bass. The highs are crisp and clear. The designer was very thoughtful in putting all the controls and adjustments that one would ever need in both the front side and back side. I like the bass/treble adjustments on the back. I would have like it to be +10dB (vs. 6dB) but I suppose it's better than none. I think this speaker is even better sounding than the Rokit 5" and the price is reasonable for the pair. Overall this is an excellent pair of speaker to own. You won't be disappointed. Highly recommend.

They were included in a deal for a Tascam 16x8 Audio Interface. I find that they're a bit susceptible to interference. Could be just where I have them placed. They sound decent for small speakers.

Unlike Alexander Tardif's experience, I received this product in perfect condition, worked flawlessly out of the box, and has AMAZING sound! Truly impressive little speakers; highly recommend; even has output for a subwoofer. Connected to BT on 1st try, with several different devices. Could not be happier, esp at the special price of $89 after rebate.

I must've gotten a DOA unit. Completely unusable for anything over 1/4 volume due to either blown out speaker or otherwise. Tested with BT and every direct connection available on a variety of equipment to troubleshoot with same result. PreSonus support is non-existent, not even a customer service # available so back they go. Shame - this is my first PreSonus product and pretty much will be the last.
