Very good lens
I had been looking for a wide angle prime lens for some time and finally got this lens when it went on sale. I am very satisfied with it. Good wide open and gets better as you stop it down a bit. As a long time SLR and now DSLR user manual focus is not an issue for me. Contrast is a bit low but easily fixed in post processing. All in all a very good lens for the money. i have attached a few photos I took at a local park when I first got the lens.
Amazing bargain
The price/performance ratio of this lens is impressive; extremely sharp, very low distortion, and chromatic aberrations are well-controlled (what there is can easily be removed with software). I don't consider the fact that it's not AF to be a disadvantage. This isn't the focal length I would use when aiming for blurrred backgrounds, but the bokeh looked pretty good in the couple of test shots I took.

The 0.2m of minimum focusing adds versatility to the lens.
Based on Rokinon Optics' exceptional optical technology, Ultra Multi Coating and two aspherical lenses and three extra-low dispersion have been included among 13 glasses in 12 groups to minimize aberration and unnecessary light dispersion, delivering high resolution from the center to the corners of the image.
