I'm looking for a battery, a battery grip, and a hot shoe flash for a sigma sd1?PAUL U : I recently purchased two Sigma BP-21 packs for my SD14 because I had previuosly purchased two third party batteries which proved to be substandard. The Sigma BP-21 that came with the camera even after three years of use still performs FAR better then the off brands. The two new Sigma BP-21s have proven to provide me with enough power for well over 300 image captures from each battery. Would I recommend the purchase of Sigma battery packs over off market battery packs? Absolutely, even though the off markets were a third of the price they provided far less images per charge. Shopping with Adorama has been a pleasure from the veery begining. They have been honest and easy to deal with at all times I regularly recommend them to family and friends. Stick with the name brands as much as you can and you will avoid disappointment. I will comtinue to shop with Adorama in the future.JOHN N : sigma make a grip for the SD1 that holds 2 batteries, works great. I believe Adorama stocks it.THOMAS J S : The battery for the SD1 is the BP-21 so you have the correct battery at least. I have not looked for the other things.ANDREW R : This battery (the BP-21) is the correct battery for your SD-1. Unfortunately we do not appear to offer the PG-31 grip at this time.
VERONICA C : does this battery work on the sigma sd1 and do you have a battery grip , and a hot shoe flash that will fit this camera?SONJA R : Veronica, I have the SIGMA SD-14 and it uses the Sigma BP-Lithium Battery. I have the battery charger and cord that came with the camera. About the flash, I have never considered the external and don't know if it can be used with this camera. One more thing I'm not much help on -- have no idea what the battery grip is. See my many photos on facebook -- most have been taken with this camera and I'm very pleased with it.GLEN D : The Sigma BP-21 battery works equally in SD-1 and SD-15 cameras. I do not use a battery grip nor a hot shoe flash. I hope this answers your question.CARTER H : Generic BP21s work, just be sure there is no sticker on the battery; itis a very tight fit and some old ones would get stcuk ( 4 years ago ). Yes, I have Sigma flash and it works OK. Does the job

The battery is for an SD14 and works very well. It seems to hold a charge very well and charges quickly with the SD14 charger included with the SD14 kit. I have not had any issues with the battery in 30 days of continuous use.
