Questions & Answers

BARBARA J : I just recently purchased a Canon EOS 60D Camera and 2 lenses. 18-135 and 70-300, which Filters should I buy for a trip our to southwest to shoot canyons in AZ, CO,NM,UT??JARED L : You absolutely need a circular polarizer! Depending on how much landscape photography you'll be doing, a graduated neutral density filter might be a good investment, too. But the CP filter is probably the best all-around filter to have for almost all outdoor photography.MAYKEL C : Absolutely! It will bring out the sky colors and mute reflections. It will also protect your lens from dust and scratches. Remember to dial-in your preference while in use. Rotate it util you get the desired effect and take your picture.RANDY W : Works great for me the lenes you have will cover everything you will need might get a tripod could get some cool night shotsjohn b : Get a 1A Haze filter (not a skylight) and a polarizing filter for each. What you will note is that colors are rather washed out looking in the arid regions ( I live in Montana.) and the polarizing filter will help with color saturation. The 1A, which is faintly yellow, will cut down on the blue scattering from dust particles in the air. In my experiance it is more effextive than a skylight filter which is pink in color. You will find that shadows on clear days take on a definite blue color. Both filters will help mitigate this effect.RICHARD B : The polarizer will work perfectly for you.and I always havea uultraviolet filter on. As far as any oother filter that would depend on what type of effect you want. I hope this helps happy shooting BARBARA J : Thanks for the help...SHARON M : A circular polarizer is a must. I have several different brands --Sunpak and also B&W. Read the reviews on line. Prices vary.
Shopper : Why Did You Choose This?AMISH A : Just wanted to try out the CPL filter and see what's all with the fuzz about it. Competitively prized and fits perfectly on the 18-135 EFS lens.

Light rays which are reflected by any surface become polarised and polarising filters are used to select which light rays enter your camera lens.
• They allow you to remove unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water, glass etc.
• They also saturate colors and increase contrast.

Sunpak 67 Circular Polarizer Features

  • Creates dramatic sky/cloud contrast.
  • Saturates colors without changing color balance.
  • Mount rotates to control amount of effect.
  • Increases contrast equally well with black & white film.
