I was asked to photograph a police badge so it could be digitized, printed on a porcelin tile, and mounted to a headstone. After spending several hours trying various lighting setups, gobos, ways to prop the badge, and camera angles, I was ready to give up. Then I remembered reading about light tents/boxes in product photography. After this arrived it took less tha 30 minutes to photograph the badge...no glare, no reflections, just a clean image. My client was in tears at the picture. Task accomplished! (she had some else photograph it initially but you could see thier face in a reflection on the badge). THe light tent sits on a curved edge but is realtivly stable none the less. There is one small rust stain on one edge but it does not affect the light tent. I would buy another one and reccommend it everyone who needs to photograph any product.

I have a large tent (24x24x36) & needed a smaller more portable one for some on-site shoots. This fit the bill perfectly.

Good product for the price, but the sweeps are pretty horrible. better to make your own out of some other fabric. Takedown also can be a little confusing the first time or two.

When you need to photograph something small with even lighting, this is your cube! It sets up fast, It comes with a black and white fabric sweep that fits perfectly. I did have to use a steamer to get the wrinkles out. but overall well worth the effort. I use 2 small studio lights or take it out side for daylight shooting. It comes in a handy carrying case small enough to fit in my camera bag. So glad I found this cube, makes the job of lighting so easy.

I love the product! I needed it for a photography assignment at school and the photos turned out great. I did forget how to take it down, so it's just sitting in my room...open. and it's wrinkled. Outside of that no complaints here from this hombre...hombre!

The product is well constructed, lightweight and easy to set up however when I tried to figure out how to use the velcro and alligator clips to pin up the background sweeps, there were no illustrations or directions. There were directions on how to fold up, which is nice but now I have to use pins to hold up the sweeps. It would be perfect if they had those directions, but since this was an important factor in my uses I can't give this good marks.

I use this for photographing jewelry now, and the improvement to my photos is incredible. It's big enough to fit my mini tripod in for closeups my cheap camera's macro feature can't handle. I've been lighting it with a single Ott Lite lamp and so far, that's been enough.
