I'm adding a star because of the good support I received from Transcend following failure of the card. My card failed while on vacation, after several thousand shots in three different countries. The card was ~1 month old with very light use, spending all of its time securely inside the camera or in a quality card reader, with no physical abuse whatsoever. The card failed in such a way that the internal 'controller' stopped working, and could not be recognized by the computer at all. This meant no software recovery was possible. I sent the card to Transcend, who offered to recover my data. Unfortunately they weren't able to recover anything, and returned it to me. I then tried a certain 'drive saving' company, who wanted several thousand $ for the work. I declined and took it to a local shop, which was able to recover all the raw data by accessing the memory chips directly, for a few hundred dollars! Transcend replaced the card, but I cannot recommend their memory cards based on my experience. TL;DR: Card failed hard, Transcend replaced it, ALWAYS RECORD TO 2 CARDS SIMULTANEOUSLY.
