The innovative Dry Lock (DL) port system provides added security at the water's surface and accommodates large diameter lenses. This housing features an extra-large, soft-touch zoom knob, making it easy to adjust your zoom even in challenging underwater environments. The unique universal zoom gear system ensures that zoom is accessible for many lenses.The 200DL housing includes a vacuum valve (pump sold separately) and an Ikelite ICS-5 bulkhead connector with a manual hotshoe for reliable electrical triggering of underwater strobes. For photographers seeking automatic exposure with compatible Ikelite DS strobes, optional TTL circuitry can be added. This underwater housing is supremely functional, providing access to all important camera functions. The control symbols are laser-etched into the back, ensuring they will never fade or rub off. The quick-install camera mount plate allows for easy battery or memory card access without needing to remove the camera from the housing.Constructed from corrosion-resistant ABS-PC and Lexan, this housing is not only reliable but also stylish. It features a balanced aluminum base with a left-hand quick-release handle (right-hand handle sold separately). When I tested the setup before using the housing, the lens hit the lens port some of the time, but not every time.  I limited the use of the zoom to avoid this problem once in the water.  I handed the camera to my wife and she did not know about the limit.  When she zoomed all the way out the lens hit.  The instructions say to to press the on off button to restart if this happens.  This did not fix the problem.  I had to return to the boat and remove the camera from the case to reset the camera.  This is the only underwater case I have used that had this problem, and if I had known of the problem before purchase I would not have spent $ on this case.

Lens hits lens port

I have no point of comparison, as this is the first camera housing I've bought. I've used it on two dives so far (70' and 30') and the photos I took were flawless. The Ikelite was incredibly easy to use and the seals felt great, so I wasn't worried about my camera.
