The PocketWizard Plus is the result of 10 years of experience building sophisticated remote triggering devices for photographers. The Plus uses the most advanced digital radio system in the photographic industry to deliver impressive range and reliability for the professional photographer.  Complex sixteen bit digitally coded radio signals deliver a unique code ensuring, the receiver cannot be triggered or "locked up" by other radio noise. The built-in microprocessor guarantees consistent synch speeds even under the worst conditions.The Plus is built around a streamlined case with a hot shoe mount on the transmitter and a cold shoe on the receiver. Each unit has a 1/4 - 20" threaded mount for use with a bracket or clamp, and the hanging lanyard included makes mounting a remote receiver a snap.  The captive battery door means you can never lose it, while changing batteries. The transmitter and receiver each require two AA batteries (included) and provide uninterrupted use for 250-hours. Four digitally coded channels provide reliable triggering for up to four photographers in the same shooting environment.Based on the popular PocketWizard Classic, the PocketWizard Plus inherits all of the popular features that made the Classic the world's most reliable remote triggering system. Incorporating PocketWizard's patented digital radio technology, the Plus provides reliable triggering up to 800 + feet away from the transmitter and receiver. Features like the Local/Both/Remote switch allows the photographer to select which camera or electronic flash units will fire. When every shot counts, you can rely on the Plus.

There's a reason why Pocket Wizards are considered the best, because they are!  Yes, there are cheaper remote triggers, and I've tried 4 or 5 other brands, but I now own 3 PWIIs, and I'll never switch.

A bit pricey, but worth every penny!
