Love this thing. It fits my hand perfectly. I like that it protects both sides. The bottom of course has the cutouts for the battery and card. Most other cases have the screw to attach it to the same part as other hooks or mounts but this one has a separate screw location so I don't have to worry about over tightening when I use both. 
Overall, it's perfect for my needs.

Works great for me

Overall disappointed. I have purchased RRS products many times with excellent results.
This time rather, this is not my preferred camera grip. The hand grip is just not for me. I have big Hands so the feel of grip doesn?t give me confidence that I have a secure grip on the camera body itself.
You can add a wrist strap for security however, I prefer the Leica finger loop over all the grips out there.
That brings me to my negative review. Unable to use the finger loop because the LEICA grip has the receptacle to except the finger loop, witch is the best comfort and camera security you can buy.

Not the best for my kind of camera transportation.

RRS makes the best quality accessories for cameras, plus they are made in the USA. One you purchase one of their products, you will not by anything else. I own their best ball heads(4), tripods (2carbon fiber), monopods (2 carbon fiber), L-brackets (6) and a few other things. At first, I bought cheaper brands, then learned it's much better to spend a little extra and get "Really Right Stuff" You will not be disappointed! For both of my Leica Q2 cameras, I originally bought Leica L-Brackets. I saw they were made in China and blocked access to the battery and memory doors. With RRS L-Brackets, they are very well constructed and you have full access to the battery and memory card without taking off the bracket. They also have side brackets if you choose to shoot photos that way. Their ball heads, carbon fiber tripods, and carbon fiber monopods area simply the things on the market. Purchase something from RRS and you'll see why so many switch there equipment and replace it with RRS.
