Great camera

Best camera I have ever owned! Shutter is amazingly fast

Consider thIs a " magic camera"! It is a combination of the a9 and the a7R4 and does everything very , very well! It does have an Achilles heel, however, in that if the sun hits the eye piece directly ( like if the sun is coming from over your shoulder) the camera shuts down for a minute. You can wear a big hat or other wise try to shade the eyepiece from the sun to avoid this problem.

Honestly, great camera for sports photographers, maybe even nature If your a professional? but for portrait photographers, this is over kill. Stick to the sony a7 rIV for a third of the cost and more megapixels to work with?

It?s an amazing camera- sharp and responsive. The 8k video quality without the heating issue is out of this world and doesn?t really bog down your workflow as I had anticipated. Great buy will get a lot of value from this camera for. Long time to come!

Outstanding camera and customer service

This is the most expensive camera I have ever have and I don't know enough to say if the price is worth it. But so far from my experience, its performance is impeccable and I'm very happy with the purchase. 

Besides the camera itself, which there are many expert reviews online, Adorama's service was great. I placed the order the Saturday before the Thanksgiving. And the package was on the way the night of Sunday. Initially I was a bit worried about how soon can it be shipped since it was close to the holiday, but my concern proved unnecessary. I will certainly keep this in mind for future purchases.

Best action camera ever made

I?m so glad I made the purchase .. does more than both of my previous cameras did combined . The auto focus system is top notch.

Better than advertised

The A1 is a seachange in photography for me. I?m coming from over 45 years as a professional shooting 4x5 Sinar, Hasselblad?s and Nikon exclusivly. The Nikon d5 stays at home now in favor of the new Sony A1. I won?t go through the specs but it does everything it?s promised to do and more.

The a1 has no pier. It?s an incredible camera! I bought one to try and was so impressed I bought a second a1 with full set of lenses and sold all of my Nikon gear.

Sony A1 is a beast of a camera

Fantastic camera! I?m amazed at the bird eye focus and high frame rate! This camera helps me capture images I?ve dreamed of: butterflies in flight and Osprey diving for a fish.  As I?m getting older I need the extra help this camera provides. So glad I invested in such amazing technology! @lizmjphoto

Fantastic camera!

This camera is a beast. Fast and furious with great autofocus for birds, animals and humans.  The AF is not 100 percent but it?s much more accurate then the Sony A7R4 in that respect.  With only a little sacrifice in quality compared to it.

All I can say is that I love this camera.   Sony listened and corrected all the issues that were complained about.  It is everything they say it is and more.

This is the best Camera I have ever used. You can read the reviews yourself and watch videos, but the speed of the tracking and the improvements in eye AF, as well as low light capabilities make it head and shoulders above any thing else  out there. I took one star off for the cost. 
Adorama had the camera at my door 3 days after I ordered it. The shipping is the best I?ve used.
