The Visoflex has a high-resolution and provides extraordinary eye-level viewing.With its tilt-and-swivel function, it allows the photographer to capture images from unusual angles. When the Visoflexis held to the eye, a sensing system registers and immediately turns off the LCD display. As soon as the eye is remove, the display appears. The Visoflex also has an integrated GPS option.

Connects flawlessly with my M10 Monochrome and makes critical focusing much easier particularly with the 90mm lens. Highly recommended.

A great addition to a great camera

I was pleased to see all the available camera settings in the viewer: shutter, aperture, ISO, etc. The manual focus is also easy use with the viewer. The tilt that is available with the viewer is also a nice feature.

The only complaint I have with is additional brightness the viewer adds. This does not affect the digital image (correct exposure is seen on the camera), but you may find yourself checking the camera for the correct exposure.

Leica Visoflex for fans of the old rangefinder

Offers a useable way of focusing on either very wide or long lenses that are difficult if not impossible to handle with the viewfinder for proper focusing. By 2020, the quality of this electronic viewfinder should be better, particularly since the electronic viewfinders in Q, CL and particularly SL cameras are spectacular. Not offering this to the M community is actually a bit strange. **Leica: Please update!**

Usable, but today underwhelming

The Leica Visoflex is a great add on to the Leica M.It allows you to wait for the decisive moment indiscreetly while getting interesting perspectives.

A great add on for creative street photography

This Leica Visoflex Viewfinder -Black takes the cake.. I have never viewed through a finder like the one. Its clear and perfect for day shooting ......  Its pricey... But, worth the price.  Come on if your gonna get a Leica TL2 Mirrorless Camera, Black Anodized Finish.. You've must accessorize..  Cant buy a Rolls Royce and no wheels.    This is marvelous!!!

WOW!!!

You really can't take a good picture holding the camera out in front of you at arm's length. Sorry, humans were not made to do that. If you want to hold the camera steady, you have to press it against your face. This device lets you do that, plus it also gives you GPS. I have not found the battery drain to be objectionable, but my shooting sessions are necessarily short anyway due to age.

Almost a necessity

The Visoflex is an excellent viewfinder, with a large clear view and works well on the X Typ 113.  The tilt feature is very useful, and the viewfinder fits and holds to the camera better than the EVF for the X2.  It looks good and unique, and visually it is quite nice mounted on a black body.  Accessory viewfinders are always a bit of a nuisance, but this one is worth it and I consider it essential for use with the X or a T body.
