Purchased this Sony Battery March 19, 2013.
Received it in excellent condition.
I charged it and plugged it up to the 7" monitor that I purchased it for,
and it worked fine.
I do not know how long it last because I have yet to use it. I have had

in my video camera and the metering says it will last for more than eight hours. I have used it on several occasions for four hours with power left over. I also use the battery in my video light thats like made up of 160 leds. the batteries last four hours and more in that also. I have ever used my camera in one day. I always recharge
the batteries after a days use so I can't say for sure just how many hours it will work but it should be for
many hours more. I think the Sony HDR FS7 camcorder uses
less power per hour so the battery should last much longer. I'm never sure how much shooting I will do so I
always go with a spare battery just in case. I have never

Pretty much as expected
I bought two of these batteries because they were on sale at a great price. I use these generic Sony type batteries for my LED lights and video monitor, a purpose for which they work just fine. They charge readily in Sony L type battery chargers. Because they are generic and out of an abundance of caution, I would not use them in my Sony video camera. I'd rather spend the extra money on genuine Sony batteries. But for lights, monitors or any other accessory, I see no reason not to go with the generics.

just what i needed
I shot for several hours and was pleased to see that I still had lots of time left on this battery. Plus it makes my camera look bigger. Lol. great product, gives me plenty of security on the shoot.

Over 4+ hours light with my LED vid ligh
I have a 160 light LED that I use for video. It gives me over 4+ hours of light at maximum power. Plenty of power, time, and juice. Fits snugly, can charge in the sony battery handycam charger

A happy camper
This battery was intended to be a backup battery for a sony video camera. However, battery charge last longer than old batteries. Therefore, they are now my first line of defense. Price was excelente and the arrival time was as promised.

Geat price works fine
I strictly use these products in my Sony Camcorder light for weddings ad led Generic lights that accept the battery. I use only Sony Batteries in My Sony Camcorder. The battery actually lasted longer than the Sony battery in my light. This product saved me alot and my Sony light at full strength lasted over 3 hours at a reception last weekend. Will not use this product in my camera.

Works for me
I'm not a photographer rather I'm an Audio Engineer and I use this battery in various Sound Devices digital audio recorders. Tested this battery under the following conditions: SD722 Recording 44.1/24bit Mic was Nevaton MC404 stereo mic. I chose this mic because it draws a lot of phantom power: 10 mA. LED and LCD turned on but at lowest brightness Media selected was INHDD and CF The battery ran for 6.6 hours which is consistent with its rating of 6000 mAhr. The SD722 draws a little less than 1 amp when recording. The battery fit into my 702 and 722 just fine; not too tight, not too loose. The contacts seem to be firmly attached to the battery, unlike some other inexpensive batteries I have used. I have no info on the long term performance of this battery, so that's why 4 rather than 5 stars. But for the price they seem to be pretty good batteries.

Nice battery especially when on sale
