I bought this monopod to take tabletop macro shots of objects using a light tent. Overall I'm very happy with it. I can set it to hold my camera at any angle whatsoever. The pan-head joint near the camera sometimes needs readjusting before you can tighten it all the way, but once everything is tight, it stays there and does not become looser with time. With its heavy construction, it does NOT fold small, nor is it lightweight - I don't think it'd make sense as traveling gear. The best feature is the handle, which lets you hold the camera exactly where you want it and tighten all the joints down with your other hand -- if you're very careful not to drop the camera.

The Vanguard VS-92 is ideal for mounting cameras or camcorders to its two-way panhead. The two ball pivots allow for any angle of filming. The clamp at the base can be quickly and easily attached to your tree stand or table, allowing the camera to be out of the way of the hunter.
