Packed well. Hooked them to a Yamaha RX-479. Flimsy plastic. Sounds good to me. Have to turn up the sound level to 60 for listening. (I'm not deaf but do wear hearing devices). I prefer these over my last speakers because they sound like the treble is naturally higher. I found my bookshelf Mission speakers have this same quality. The room is 20 X 11 and the sound is very good. Don't think they'd be good for a larger, or more more square room. I find them to be very good fro the price.

Here is the bottom line. Not every home has the ability to wire for true surround sound! Wires to run overhead (?) as we have a tile floor/ Nowhere to hide wires for surround sound speakers! Why not have the speakers wireless. Large living room, but severely hampered by not being able to place the last two speakers on the other side of the room.

You could spend more than twice the price for similar speakers, but why would you? These speakers sound manificent and they can more than handle any volume you choose in any size room. The subwoofer is also excellent. These speaker system are a great buy!

So far so good...replaced a Bose system that I have had for about 25 years. No complaints. Looks good,sounds good...and for price, I do not think you can beat it.

Speakers are connected to my Denon AVR-2309ci Receiver. The speaker package exceeded my expectations and it was a great value. I highly recommend these speakers, sound quality, attractive and a good surround sound quality!
