Zunow WCX-08 Wide Angle Conversion Lens for Compact HD Camcorders - 72/62mm Mount

I purchased this lens for my Sony HVR-Z5u. I never tried other lenses with my camera, but I can say I got what I expected to get. Great optical quality at all zoom through ranges, no vignetting at widest angle, barrel distortion is not too strong and this lens is very light which doesn't make front of camera too heavy. Additional thanks for lens hood. I don't use adapter rings with my HVR-Z5U. I would give it sixth star if it would come with Sony bayonet mount.

Got this lens last month. The guy who sold it to me talked me into buying this one over the Century lens I wanted to buy. I did some testing with this lens and the Century .75x on my Sony Z5. True the Century has a bayonet mount and the Zunow a is treated. But in optical quality I believe the Zunow is better. The nice thing is that the Zunow comes with a complete package (62mm ring adapter, Really nice rubber hood). And the best part its a really really really good price.. So I can only suggest you buy it.....and make your self a believer as I became. Ralph
