Any of the parameters for judging the quality of high powered binoculars are meaningless unless you have a tripod. The jiggle and movement takes the fun out of using anything with high magnification. The biggest kick I have with these binoculars is letting others use them. I tell them how they work, hand them over and wait for the "WOW"! I've looked through Zeiss, Leica, Swarovski and I wouldn't give these Fujinon's up for anything. The image stabilization allows me to pick out details that are otherwise impossible to find. I've seen other reviews complain about the weight, but they feel fine to me, very solid. I showed these to a SWAT officer and he was stunned. He was going to obtain a set for his squad first thing Monday morning.
