I purchased this imager as part of a series of reviews of digital imaging for student microscopy. This item is less than half the cost of the closest competitor at wholesale! Yet, it rivals cameras costing several hundred dollars.

But, its real strength is the software. It's easy and works with Windows 7. Of the units tested this was a first.

It's a great value. And, will really be helpful for home school parents in that it will ensure that the student is seeing what they are expected to see.

It was purposely tested with a microscope that can typically be found in better toy stores, the My First Lab Duo-Scope. Thus, these images are the baseline and it can only get better with better microscopes.
