For prime focus astrophotography this unit is great,especially with a f6.3 field reducer.The unit is easy to use and very stable. I have a Celestron Nexstar 11 on a CGEM mount using a Pentax DSLR and get great results.The attached photo of the Orion Nebula, 40 sec. exposure is nice.

Works exactly as expected. Threaded on the back of my CPC 800. Using the requisite camera adapter, I was able to easily attach my DSLR.

Want to use your Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope as a super-telephoto lens? This is just the ticket! Allow any camera, via T-adapter, to attach to the telescope - a 5" scope becomes a 1250mm f/10; an 8" scope becomes a 2000mm f/10. Great for prime focus astrophotography or spying on people 2000 ft. away.
Very well made and robust. Highly recommended.
