It's well made and very precise. The reticle works brilliantly for it's brightness intensity and the star adjustment ability, hoping from star to star without moving guidescope. I'm using an 80mm f/11 refractor that was only $50. Even with optics limitation I can find a star every time with the help of the 3x barlow. The only negative is the weight of the GA4 with an ep, though partially it's due to pushing the Sphinx mount to max weight capacity - two scopes (114mm f/5.4, 80mm f/11), a Rebel XT and the GA4. It's a great way to learn old school guiding techniques and obtain quality images.
