Works very well and does what it is supposed to do. My only concern is that it is SO small it could easily be lost. Considering the price ... I think it should include a lanyard attached to the unit. It has a hole for one and this can be added after purchase.

When I look at the unit, and it's case, I think it could be better engineered and designed to either eliminate the case, or tie the case and unit together as one with some sort of attachment to keep it from getting lost easily.
Instead it's kind of ... here's the unit - and a case ... good luck not loosing them both!
Here's a clue ... look at how some of the new USB/Flash thumb drives are designed to include a cover that you can't loose. I think some creative engineering could be applied to make this a better product.

I was in search of a remote to use to shoot family portraits, fireworks, and other things that would be very blury if I held the camera in my hand. This nifty little thing was a little difficult to understand in the beginning (perhaps I should have read the instructions); but anyhow it serves its purpose quite nicely! Upon opening it, I noticed that it was quite a bit smaller than I had anticipated (the picture on this site made it look bigger than it really is) which may give me a reason to look after it a little closer than other accessories that may not hide as easily. My main concern about this RC-6 was whether or not it would work in "bulb" mode. After playing with it a bit on my 5d Mark ii, the bulb function works wonderfully as well as the 2-second delay and the immediate shot. I did notice that I got a slightly clearer shot when I turned the IS off on the lens while the camera was mounted. Still, wonderful accessory for the price!

This little guy is a great addition to my bag! I was looking for something that I can use to take photos of fireworks later this year. I was skeptical at first because I could not find anywhere that confirmed whether or not it would work on "bulb" setting. After playing with it on my 5d Mark II, I did find that the buld setting works great! Needless to say, it does everything I want it to do...and even some things I didn't plan on doing!

I use when photographing myself, with my family, or when in low light to avoid shaking the camera. It's very simple yet it serves it's purpose!

This remote works better than I expected. Inside a room it will work from behind the camera as long as it has something to bounce the signal off of.

Works better than I anticipated. Not only for self portraits, but will bounce of wall and/or subject and work from behind / beside the camera.

Works great. Switch on the back changing it to a "instant" to "2 second", took me a minute to figure that out.

Love this remote! It is the perfect size and works really great! No more running to get yourself in place for a group shot. This remote also minimizes movement from you when doing macro shots.
