Great camera. Set it on the shutter setting and adjust the shutter for excellent photos of high speed objects. I was able to shoot paintballs mid-flight and my saint bernard sprinting with no blur. Great Movies too. Many, many options. I really can't believe the camera you get for the money. 15x optical zoom is fantastic. Great feel as well. Solidly built.

I find myself often accidentally pushing other buttons when I'm trying to just hold the camera in a specific way - I think because of where they are located. But overall, I think this is a really great camera. I've gotten excellent results from it.

Great camera for a novice that really just wants to turn it on and shoot. "KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID" has been applied well here. The great zoom range and high mpx along with image stabilization make it easy to take really good pix. Requires very little study of the manual or memorization of setting controls.
It would be nice to have aperture control, for those a little more advanced.
