I use this camera for hobby but also as a Search & Rescue Technician and as an Animal Rescue Technician. Weight and size are critical due to other gear I carry. I reluctantly switched from my Canon 7D system (have owned Canon since the F-1 days) and I am THRILLED. The size and weight area a joy, and the quality is superb. Not sure I like losing the electronic viewer for flash, but hey, the rest is great. Have the 75-300 zoom (150-600 equivalent) which is insane!
