Comments about Kingston Technology Kingston Technology 8 GB Compact Flash Memory Card:

I have a Canon Rebel XT and got an error message with the rapid shooting function and lost all but the first few images taken. I'm sure it would be fine for taking landscape photos but not for any action shots.

Comments about Kingston Technology Kingston Technology 8 GB Compact Flash Memory Card:

It's a memory card, it was a great deal, it holds 8GB and it works in my camera. What else do I need?

The only thing I dislike is that it did not come with a little storage case. What did they save 12 cents by not including that?

Interesting note, My other card is a quite expensive 8GB Sandisk Extreme III. This card is rated as 5x slower than the Sandisk, but I still get the same exact number of shots in burst mode on my 30D before the buffer fills. So don't think you need the fastest card for SLRs.

Multiple stack overflows writing to card, even tho there was more than 5 gigs available for storage. Even after multiple formats. Not trusting this brand anymore, regardless of price.

Comments about Kingston Technology Kingston Technology 8 GB Compact Flash Memory Card:

This is a huge capacity card,(approx.1800 jpgs at the highest resolution setting), I use in my Sony A300. It transfers jpg.s very fast with Win XP and Win 7 both x64s, as well as arw.s or photoshop's version of raw. It seems to be able to keep up with bracketing or multiple shots just as easily. So far it has been reliable and looks like it's made of good stuff. Not cheap materials. I would definitely buy another just for storage or backup.

Comments about Kingston Technology Kingston Technology 8 GB Compact Flash Memory Card:

I mainly shoot weddings. I have always used multiple cards and had to switch them out during a reception. The 8gb last the entire event. I don't have to worry If I'll have room for the cake, garter, or bouquet. Works Great with my 20d's. No issues so far. Own 2, buying another.
