Bought two of these Cards Used one 3 or 4 times. Finished a shoot for a band of Bag Pipers at their live performance. While reviewing the images it quit. Turns out card is corrupted. & cannot be recognized. Sandisk will replace card but images are lost. Hope the other card doesn't go bad.

performs above and beyond, I was on safari in africa and would shoot burst at 8fps on my d700 for 5-6 seconds and no problems.

Although this card is expensive it is very fast. It was what I needed for action wildlife photography. The card is also built to resist humidity and the effects of weather.

Nikon has never rcommended a CF bigger than 8 Gb for the D300, although they do recommend 16 Gb cards for the D300S. But it works just greart on my D300. Downloads faster than my previous SanDisk 8 Gb Extreme 3 CF card.

With new the newer cameras over 12 mega pixels per pic, normal cards get eaten up fast. The 16 gig - 90 mbs is a must for the new cameras. When shooting in raw you need a large card that is able to write fast and hold a decent amount of pictures when shooting sports. This is the perfect card. Not to large and yet not to small, you never know when a card will go bad, yet with SanDisk I have never had a problem from the 1 gig, 2 gig. 4gig. 8 gig and now the 16 gig (I own two). If I have a choice I will always buy SanDisk.

I just love not having to worry about having enough space on my card. 16G is a lot! And it reads and writes so fast. I also love the 1 year data erase warranty for those little oops and uh-ohs!

I used the card on my first shoot with my 5D Mark ii that I purchased. Only about 60% of my images would transfer over to my computer. After about 2 hours on the phone with SanDisk and Rescue Pro, they figured out it must be a bad sector in the card. Unfortunately there was nothing I could do about losing the photos from the shoot I did.

I personally think I just got a bad card - cause it has so many really great reviews!
