In several years, I have had only one SanDisk failure. A notice flashed that the card was faulty and should be replaced. I did not lose what I had already taken, and I was able to return the card to the place of purchase. I think it's wise, based on this experience, to always have an extra card in the bag.

I believe SanDisk is the leader in flash card design and production. I have never had a problem with any of their cards.
This size (4GB) is appropriate for my use because there is plenty of space if I need it, but is also inexpensive enough so that I can use several cards for a day's shooting and not have to put everything on one card in case there is a problem.

After researching all the name brands of memory
this was the only chip that did not receive any
negative reviews so I got it. So far it has performed flawlessly and Adorama is very fast to
ship. The price was right also.

I have used memory cards from two other makers, and neither measures up to the SanDisk. I therefore have used SanDisk cards exclusively for several years and have not been dissapointed at any time. This particular card so far has not been an exception to that rule.

Using this in a water-resiatant digital I picked up on closeout from Adorama. Was only a few bucks to add on the memory card. Has been a fine addition.

This is storage. Nothing fancy or gee-whiz about it! Thankfully. Reliable - what I am looking for to keep those vacations, flowers, friends, the changes to the house all available. Isn't this SO much better than all those paper photos?!

The product does what it is supposed to do. I take a lot of photos on our travels, with the knowledge that I will delete more than the half when we are back home. It gives me the extra capacity to high resolution photos without concern about running out of space. I can transfer them to my computer and start over again the next day. It is fast, both reading and writing, which means less time between photos. So far there are no downsides to this product. I got what I expected and am very happy with the product [...]

I wish SD cards were biger sized, I always loose them, don't have that issue with my CF cards.

When it comes to micro memmory modules (Phones, Cameras, MP3 players)Scandisk leads the pack in performance. In 15 years I have never had one scandisk product fail to perform it's function. I have tried others, but I always come back to scan disk. I purchased a 4 gb unit for my 13 year old daughters Nikon CoolPix. Kids take alot of pictures and the scandisk units don't fail.

An excellent choice for a campact camera. Even used in a high capacity camera, it'll store hundreds of still photos! I'd recommend having more than one card if more photos are taken prior to downloading onto your computer's hard drive. So, if somehow the card gets damaged or corrupted you won't lose everything! The only use I can see for more memory would be if a lot of videos are taken, which of course uses a tremendous amount of memory. Overall if stills are what you mostly take, 4 GB is more than enough. Especially at the low pricing for this "size" card.

I bought this because it was listed as an accessory on the same page as the Panasonic Lumix DCM-TS1. This brand is familiar and one that I've bought in the past. After buying it, I learned that a 6 GB was recommended for taking videos with a TS1. There's no problem. I bought an 8 GB and will swap this card with another camera. The 4 GB is bigger than any of the other cards purchased for my DSLR. The price was great.

This is a great value memory card for advanced point and shoot cameras. It writes well and transfers quickly from camera to computer. It also does well with short video clips taken from a camera.

I prefer the 4GB size to larger capacity cards because I can still store lots of photos in them for a good price. I trust this brand for most of my digital photography.

I took the 4GB SanDisk on vacation recently to complement my 8GB. I was very satisfied with it. In fact I have decided I prefer the smaller capacity disk because it is such a rapid download.

I love these memory cards. I leave everything on the card. When the earthquake or tornado hits, just crab your camera bag and you have all your photos! They are so cheap at Adorama. Never give a camera gift without one!

We're talking fractions of a penny per MB... Who doesn't need more memory cards? These cards don't work with older SD readers (like the one in my circa 2006 PC) so keep that in mind.

This is the best even though its cheap sandisk are the industries best. Just remeber this wont work in regular card readers or devices it will fit in the slot but you have to have hc compatible readers/devices.

I purchased the SanDisk 4 gb card along with a Pentax Optio W60 weatherproof camera to take on a cruise we had booked. As a professional photographer with four digital SLR's,all using Compact Flash cards I worried about the small size and how well it would perform. I was pleasantly surprised. Since I had 2 SLR's with me,I only took about 80 pictures with the camera, but all of them turned out good except for a few that I messed up on. I had no problems with the card, even capturing a few videos. It worked flawlessly. I have added 2 pics taken on the card.

I will stick with SanDisk SD cards the only issue i got is that my 2 laptops i own cant read the 4 gb SDHC hp / acer laptop and i called ac and was told by tech that windows xp has a diff way to open and play anyway im able to hook up canon g7 with usb cable and drag drop on comp and then play it videos back..And for others like myself may need a 4/8 gb card reader cause we all know is the storage on these little guys are getting better and better

Great for travel. I use the Panasonic FZ50 for landscapes and animal portraits. I go on trips for 7-10 days and need lots of memory that's fast to write, easy to carry, and reliable. I purchased 2 of the 4 GB SDHC cards and they're perfect for my needs. The free MicroMate Reader is also just what I needed.
