Easy and reliable auto-focus.
Stunning portraits.
The wide aperture is great for low-light non-flash conditions. This lens is beautiful. It is big but not too big i.e. you don't have to rely on a monopod.

An extremely capable lens. I have found contrast and sharpness to be very good. Build quality is also high. Physical size is about the same as you would find in a good 70-200 lens of 35mm equivalence, so no big 4/3rd's advantage with this lens. Weight is also hefty, but that should be expected with such a fast lens using good glass. Too bulky to use as a 'walkabout' lens, but worth it's weight when performance counts. A favorite to shoot with.
