Comments about Sigma Sigma 18mm - 200mm f/3.5-6.3 DC OS (Optical Stablizer) Autofocus Aspherical Zoom Lens for Sigma Digital SLR Cameras:

I got this lens for my Nikon D80 with the initial plans of using it as an "everyday lens". I have had great fun with it and continue to use it regularly, but just not everyday. I have found it, for my use, to make the camera to big, bulky, and heavy for the type of shooting I like to do, which is on the run with the camera over my shoulder. It does take some practice to use in low light or inside with no flash, but once you learn it with your camera you will love this lens on a tripod doing long exposures at different focal lengths(see photo below).

All in all, I dig this lens, but as it turns out not for the reason I thought. Sigma just makes a nice lens and despite it being a little noisy compared to a much more expensive lens and the issue of weight, there really are no weaknesses to this lens. I love the grips and feel of it too.
